It’s Time to Face the Facts
Let’s face it, Facebook does not care about your brand as much as they care about its users. Facebook would rather show older posts about a friend’s engagement announcement over the launch of your new product – assuming that you did not pay for the ad space. What now? Use Facebook ads? Yes – but not every post should be a paid ad. Write up posts that stimulates engagements such as likes, shares and comments as this will increase the post’s visibility because Facebook will show that ‘so and so’ recently commented on this. Therefore, the more activity you receive on your posts the more likely it will show organically on other people’s newsfeed.
